Oreo Milkshake
Fatimah
Oreo Milkshake is so simple, yet super decadent. With few ingredients and less than 2 minutes, you can indulge yourself with a refreshing shake.
Course Beverages
Cuisine American
- 5 cups vanilla ice-cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- ½ cup Half and half
- 16 sandwich cookies off brand oreos
- Whipped cream optional
Use a full tub of ice cream to make the full serving (around 6 shakes). If you want to make less, leave the vanilla ice cream on your kitchen counter for about 5-10 minutes until it is easy to scoop it into the measuring cup, and adjust the rest of the ingredients.
In the blender, add the sandwich cookies, milk, and vanilla, to the ice cream.
Blend them until everything is mixed.
Top it with whipped cream. Serve and enjoy!
- You can store the Oreo milkshake in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. You can also keep it in the freezer in an airtight container for around 2 months. Let it thaw for a few minutes before you serve it.
- To keep some chunks of Oreo cookies in your shake, pulse only a few times in the blender. For a smoother shake, you have to pulse a little more!
- Make sure you close the blender before pulsing. You don't want to end with Oreo milkshake splashes all over your kitchen.
- If you don't have a blender, you can let the ice cream soften for a while in a deep bowl. Then, you add the milk and vanilla. Place the cookies in a zip lock bag and crush them. Now, toss them in the bowl and mix using a whisk. Serve and enjoy.
