  • 1 Tea pot or kettle

Ingredients
  

  • 5 cups water hot
  • 3 bags Ceylon tea
  • cup mint leaves fresh

Instructions
 

  • Boil the water in a tea pot or kettle.
  • Once boiling, add the tea bags and let them boil in the water for 1 minute.
  • Add the fresh mint leaves alongside the tea bags and stir.
  • Remove the tea pot from the heat and let it steep for 5 minutes before serving.
  • Place sugar in each cup as desired.

Notes

  • Water temperature is crucial. That's why to obtain the perfect Shai Bi Na'Na, you have to boil the water.
  • The quality of the water you use matters. If the water is not fresh or has a funny taste to it, it will definitely affect the flavor of your Middle Eastern Mint Tea (Shai Bi Na'Na).
  • Brewing your tea for too long will turn it bitter. Follow the specified time. 
  • You can adjust the amount of mint leaves you use according to your preferences.
