  • Once the meat is brown and minced finely Add all the seasonings. Mix well if you're using beef broth go light with that salt.
  • Add the tomato sauce and beef broth mix and remove from heat.
  • Grab a burrito-size flour tortilla and spread about two tablespoons of Nacho cheese in the center. Place 1/4 of the Taco meat on top.
  • Top the meat with the tostada. Spread one to two tablespoons of sour cream on top of the tostada.

  • Toast again to make sure it's crispy on both sides and enjoy.

Notes

    • Use a heavy pan or skillet: A cast-iron skillet or a heavy-bottomed pan helps ensure even heat distribution, making the Crunchwrap crispy all over.
    • Brush with oil or cooking spray: Lightly brushing the outside with oil or cooking spray will give it a golden, crispy texture.
    • Warm the tortillas first: Slightly warm the large burrito-size tortilla and smaller taco-size tortillas before assembling them to make them more pliable and prevent cracking while folding.
    • Use fresh tortillas: Fresher tortillas are easier to fold and hold up better during cooking.
    • Taste as you go: After adding the seasonings, taste the beef filling and adjust the seasoning to your preference—whether adding more salt, chili powder, or a touch of cayenne for extra heat.
    • Don't overfill: Be mindful not to overstuff the Crunchwrap. A little of each ingredient goes a long way, and it makes folding much easier.
    • Spread cheese evenly: Spread the cheese evenly in the center to help it melt smoothly across the filling.
    • Add extra veggies: You can throw in diced bell peppers, onions, or jalapeños into the beef for added flavor and crunch.
    • Use different proteins: Swap beef for grilled chicken, ground turkey, or even black beans for a vegetarian option.
    • Freeze the Crunchwraps: After assembling them, you can freeze them and toast them later in a pan. Wrap them tightly in foil before freezing to prevent freezer burn.
    • Fold carefully: When folding, try to fold in sections, pressing gently to keep everything in place. A clean, tight fold helps keep the filling inside during cooking.
