Easy Beef Stroganoff Recipe

Nothing beats a classic beef stroganoff made of juicy, tender beef strips doused in a flavorful creamy mushroom sauce, served with glossy egg noodles.

For the Meat
- 1 pound thinly sliced beef, like top sirloin, or flank steak
For the Creamy Sauce
- 1 small yellow onion, finely chopped
- 4 cloves of minced garlic
- 8 ounces of fresh brown mushrooms, thinly sliced
- 1 and ½ cups of heavy cream
- ½ cup of sour cream
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- ½ tabelspoon oil of your choice
- 1 tabelspoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika
Add the butter and oil to a pan on medium heat and let it melt.
Toss in the onions and garlic, and sear until fragrant and translucent.
Add in the sliced mushrooms and stear for 1 minute, before adding the beef.
Stear the beef until they are no longer pink.
Add the spices, heavy cream, sour cream, and Worcestershire sauce and mix well
Cover and let it simmer on medium heat until the beef becomes tender.
Serve with egg noodles, white rice or even mashed potatoes for a heavier meal.
- Make sure you choose a good quality meat, such as Boneless Ribeye steak, top Sirloin and Beef Tenderloin.
- You can keep Stroganoff leftovers 3 to 4 days in the fridge.
- Feel free to serve it with pastas, egg noodles, white rice or even mashed potatoes.
- If you want to add a kick to your stroganoff, add some red chilli pepper.
