Delicious, easy and so quick to put together. This juicy and delicious chicken has the perfect medley of Middle Eastern spices and flavors. Serve with pita bread of rice.
1½tablespoonsold bay seasoning (or whatever chicken seasoning you like)
¼tablespoonground cardamom
½tablespoonturmeric
1teaspoonsumacoptional
2-4large potatoesto your liking
1medium yellow onion
6garlic cloves
sriracha, shatta or sambaloptional
Instructions
Add the spices, yogurt, and olive oil to the chicken and mix well.
Make sure to rub the mixture under the skin.
Peel and cut the potatoes into 1 inch pieces, and finely dice and chop the onion and garlic.
Add to a deep baking pan and mix well.
Cover with aluminum foil and bake in a preheated oven at 425 for 45-55 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165 F. Uncover to crisp up, or broil for a few minutes.
