1010 flour tortillas carb tortillas (I used the fajita size low-carb mission brand)
Instructions
Mix the ground beef along with the seasonings and the finely chopped onion and parsley. Mix until well combined.
If you’re using small taco-sized flour tortillas, then add about a golf size amount of beef to the tortilla, making sure it’s well spread to the edges.
Add to a lightly sprayed pan and place beef side down.
Press down firmly using a spatula to smash it down.
Let it cook for 1 minute or 2 until browned, and flip. You should see it completely brown and no longer pink, and it doesn’t have any pink running out of it.
Remove and serve.
Notes
Opt for soft and pliable tortillas that can hold the juicy smashed burger and toppings without breaking apart.
You can use any size tortilla you like, it’s just the portion of beef that would be different.
A larger tortilla would require a little more cooking time, about 2-3 minutes. The goal is to have a small layer of beef, not something thick, so it cooks quickly.
