Tips and Tricks
If you don’t have ladyfinger cookies, you can use vanilla cookies instead.
Make sure that the ingredients of the cream layer, like mascarpone cheese, are at room temperature in order to mix together more easily. Make sure the heavy cream is ALWAYS cold!
Whisk the cream until stiff peaks appear. This helps to thicken the filling and sets the texture of no-bake tiramisu.
For the best results, chill the tiramisu for at least 6 hours before serving to allow for the ladyfingers to soften up and for the filling to set.
A Creamy Fresh Strawberry Tiramisu

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Yes, you can, I very much prefer to use them because they add more volume to the sauce. But, in case you don’t have frozen strawberries, then go for fresh ones. Do not thaw the frozen strawberries.
Cream cheese can be used in place of Mascarpone cheese. The flavor will have a bit more of a tang but the texture will remain the same, but it wont have the same taste as tiramisu.
Absolutely! Since it needs about 6 hours to set in the fridge before serving.
Store the strawberry tiramisu leftovers covered with plastic wrap or in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Freeze the strawberry tiramisu wrapped with plastic wrap for up to 3 months. When you are ready to serve, thaw it in the fridge overnight.
You can also freeze it before adding the last layer of strawberry compote and the cream for up to 4 months. When you’re ready to serve, thaw it in the fridge overnight and decorate it with the last creamy layers and fresh strawberries.

Steps to Prep
To Make the Strawberry Compote
Start by adding the strawberries to a pot.
Then, add them to a pot on medium-high heat along with the sugar, lemon zest, lemon juice, 2 cups of water, and cornstarch slurry.
After that, mix well and let it cool down for 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally so they don’t burn. You want them to be extremely soft.
Mix until thickened before removing from the heat to cool completely. I prefer doing the additional step of blending them using an immersion blender, but you can keep them as is.
To Make the Cream
Beat the mascarpone, heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla together. Whisk until stiff peaks, about 10 minutes.
To Assemble the Strawberry Tiramisu
First, lightly dip each ladyfinger into the reserved strawberry liquid (or you can use milk) and layer 1 time at the bottom of your pan. Add the cream layer and spread it evenly.
Now, add half of the cooled strawberry compote.
After that, dip the biscuits again and layer once more.
Next, add the remaining creamy, and top with the remaining compote.
Later on, top with powdered sugar or crushed freeze-dried strawberries.
Finally, cool your tiramisu and set it for 6 hours in the fridge. Serve your amazing Strawberry Tiramisu. Enjoy!

Mind blowing delicious!! So easy to make too! The lemon in the strawberries makes such a difference so don’t skip it! We didn’t wait the full recommended time the first day to try it and it was good, but decided to finish it now instead of dinner and so so good!! Also for reference, this should probably be made in a 9 x 13 tray!
This was so good and easy to make. My guests loved it.
